This free-standing IQ Lux automated louvre roof has been installed to provide solar shading to the external lounge area in the garden. Installing this two field IQ Lux automated louvre roof into the garden provides the perfect amount of shading which can easily be controlled at the touch of a button.

The main use of this external area is to relax in the sunshine with close access to the external swimming pool, making the most of the summer weather. These louvre roofs are designed to be able to rotate between 0 to 120°, shading the area throughout the day no matter where the sun is facing. In the colder and darker months, these louvres can be left open to allow as much sunlight as possible to pass through into the space.

These automated louvres are also designed to create a fully watertight patio roof when closed and even when opened after a downpour, no water will leak into the space due to the integrated drainage system. LED spotlights have been integrated into the patio roof design to provide lighting to the area in the evenings allowing the homeowners to enjoy their space with friends and family.
